Fabric print tutorial by Eyespiral-stock Fabric print tutorial by Eyespiral-stock
My first tutorial, how exciting! The puppy is from :iconrammkitty-stock: [link] and the shirt is from :iconmartijn86: [link] .

And my deviation that I use down the bottom is :iconeyespiral: [link]

And... :icondigitalphenom:'s [link] is the great vanishing point tutorial I mentioned.

I hope people like this, I just hadn't seen something like it and thought it was a good solution to a problem I'd had.

Ooh I don't recall ever getting reading this comment before! Oops. The reason why we create the b&w version of our image is so we have a displacement map for the print, to warp it according the the image underneath. I'm not sure why, but black and white is the way to go. I hope you managed to soldier on without my reply, sorry i missed it until now. :)

Thanks, but you should know that it is a tut for making it look like a shirt has a print using photoshop, not for actually doing real fabric printing. Just thought I should mention it since it's under the title for hand-crafter items. :)

Whoops.

You are right, of course. I've been trying to expand the content of the wiki rather quickly, and I guess I haven't been paying attention to the details as much as I should have. I have added it to the Photomanipulation section, which should be a better fit...
